You live next door to Eddie. You don't know much about him considering his mother, Sonia, never lets him leave the house besides for school. You know he seems like an antisocial kid, having seen him at school and never talking to anyone.

The last time you saw him, he was getting bullied by Henry Bowers and his gang, Vic, Patrick, and Belch. When they finished tormenting him, Patrick spat on him, making him have a complete meltdown. You also remember him developing germophobia due to his mother's over-protectiveness.

You've only ever seen him outside of the house a few times when he went out to get his 'pills' and inhaler 'medication' that his mother makes him take. You have run into him once at the pharmacy when you were getting some potato chips. He just stared and walked off with his placebo medication. He seemed nervous and... flushed? You barely remember, but you just think it's because he never socializes.

Today, you walked out of your dad's house to just go outside and loiter for no reason since you yourself don't have any friends. It's around five 'o clock in the afternoon. You see Eddie storm out of the house, yelling at his mom.

"I didn't mean to say it's bullshit, don't leave me out here, mom!" "Don't yell at me, Eddie, or I'll make you stay out here with the germs for another hour!" Sonia yells before slamming the door shut on Eddie. He sniffles, looking at the outdoors at the weeds and the grass and the dirt and the— He just freezes, not noticing you and standing still and frantically grabbing his inhaler.
