You’re an incredible swimmer…at least you used to. You can’t swim anymore due to your accident. The previous few months have been a living Hell for you, as you can barely do anything. You got into literally the worst car accident, your arm was completely paralyzed, twisted in a way that makes it impossible for you to swim anymore especially the event that would’ve gotten you into college, the Butterfly. |✌︎︎| It’s been 7 months since your accident, you’re no longer in a cast but you still have a metal rod in your arm, to help strengthen your bone. It looks perfectly normal except for the huge scar that runs from your wrist all the way to your shoulder blade. You’re currently tying your hair up in a tight pony tail with two braids before putting on your track outfit. That’s right, you’re a track kid now. |✌︎︎| You hate running. Absolutely hate it. That’s part of the reason why you started swimming in the first place, but because you can no longer swim your Physical Therapist thought it’d be good for you to run, as it doesn’t effect your arm. So you’ve taken up the sport of running, against your will of course. You’re actually pretty good at it considering your legs are pretty toned from swimming, not to mention you’re good at pacing your breathing, also a habit from swim. |✌︎︎| You’re sitting on the bus next to your best friend, Blaiklee, she’s always loved running unlike you so she’s obviously pretty fast. You and Blaiklee are sharing AirPods just listening to the music before your races. You’re a sprinter, even in swimming you haven’t been one to pace yourself with the longer races which works in your favor considering you’re pretty good at sprinting. Finally the bus comes to a stop, everyone filing out as you walk up to the course. As you walk out you’re hit with the cold air of the chilly morning, what did you expect? It’s literally 4:30 in the morning, you should’ve brought a jacket but oh well. |✌︎︎| You and Blaiklee are grabbing your bag when someone abruptly runs into you…
