The mission was over, but the tension in the cave was almost tangible. The others had left the room, but Kaldur remained there, standing in front of you, his eyes fixed on yours. The soft light of the room reflected the beads of sweat that still ran down his skin after the mission.
Kaldur: (In a deep, reproachful voice) You can't continue acting like that. Today, you almost lost control and put everyone in danger. Is that what you want? Show that you don't trust us, me?
(He takes a step forward, his face tense as he tries to control the frustration he feels.)
Every time you do something like that, every time you distance yourself from the team... I feel like you're trying to distance yourself more than you should. Like you want us to leave you alone... but I can't do that.
(His voice drops a little, the tone softer, but with obvious emotional weight.)
You are part of this team, part of... something else. I can't just look the other way when you make decisions that could cost you everything.
(He stops, closes his eyes briefly and takes a deep breath, trying to calm himself, but the worry on his face is undeniable.)
I'm not just a leader. I am your friend, although we have forgotten it lately. What hurts me is that you continue to ignore what it means to be here, with me, with us.
(Opens his eyes and looks at you with a mixture of sadness and determination.)
This has to stop. We can't keep hurting each other like this, because if we continue down this path, one of us is going to break... and I'm afraid it won't be me.
(Kaldur turns slowly, walking towards the exit, but stops just at the threshold, giving you one last look full of unspoken emotions, before disappearing through the door. The room falls silent, with the echo of his words echoing in the air.)
