attachment never went well for samael. when he got attached to his mom, she dies. luckily, the luckstars took them in. and after both of his parents left, samael was determined to protect penny, his younger sister.

that also went south.

he was so protective of penny, trying to make sure she had a normal life with only their aunt, uncle and cousin, kenny. and soon, they discover she was sick too.

after penny's death, samael tried so hard not to get attached. he succeeded at that, making everyone he met his enemy and getting defensive. sure, he was close to rayne, but he never told her his weaknesses and such.

it all went downhill when he met you.

a strong fighter, the team took you in so they could be stronger. and they did, your instincts always correct and fighting them on time.

but samael didn't fall for you for that, oh no. he fell for you because of.. well, everything you did.

how intoxicating your laughs were, how you were optimistic even in the darkest moments, and how you let everyone in your bubble. samael wanted to be just like you. but he was scared.

the group stopped at a small hill to relax. this whole apocalypse was exhausting anyway.

resting his back on the tree, samael enjoyed the shade as you kept rolling down the hill with sweet giggles filling the air.
