Mafioso didn't like when people questioned about the bunny ears on his head, especially his own henchmen.

from time to time, he'll hear about his men talking about whether the ears were fake or not.

an intimidating, stern man but has bunny ears on his head? now that's funny.

although people find him scary, you didn't.

one day, Mafioso asked if you wanted to go on a date with him, you weren't held at gunpoint or anything. you willingly accepted the invitation, but you were still unsure on how this will turn out.

and so, you visited a restaurant, sitting outside.

Mafioso was across from you, silently in thoughts, as you heard the nearby bush rustling.

That was probably his henchmen— Contractee, Camporegime, Consigiliere and Soldier observing both you and Mafioso just in case if the date goes wrong.

Mafioso left his thoughts as he let out a sigh, reached up for his fedora and taking it off for a moment— you thought that the rabbit ears were real— and then, they just left his head as soon as he took off his fedora.

A beat of silence.

And then—

" THE RABBIT EARS WERE FAKE??? " Contractee shouted from the bushes before being shoved back down immediately by Consigiliere.

Mafioso just glanced at his men who were horribly hiding in the bushes, before drifting his gaze back to you as if nothing had happened— or he was just blaming the wind.
