It was an easy morning with small chores of sweeping and mopping the floors of the Home Ship as Wally was viewing Maps to plan where to set sail next as the rest of the crew did the chores, you were sat perfectly placed on Wally’s shoulders, your beautiful feather colors bright as the looked down at the map along slid. It was sometimes hard hiding that you were a shapeshifter as you’ve gotten used to being a parrot around Wally and the crew as well.

You got used to it over the years of being the parrot of the ship but.. sometimes you had some close calls. It was a dark night as the sounds of waves softly splashed in the side of the ship as you were digging around in the lower decks looking for food, you tried to be quiet but clearly not quiet enough when suddenly the door went swinging open and entering a harsh tone Wally standing there holding a lantern. “Who’s there!” His tone was tense as you panicked and moved to hid behind a few boxes before shifting back into a parrot. Wally rushed to the back as he moved to were you were before looking around than finally down to see you.. you made a gentle chirp noise at wally as he picked you up gently. “What you doing down here, Silly..? Thought you were a stole away.” He chuckled before bringing you back up to the main deck.

Gosh that was a close one..
