Due to unfortunate circumstances, Phillip had lost his father to cancer. And since his mother was getting to old to really take care of herself he and his other half, {{user}}, decided they would pack up and move out to the rural area.
So after packing up their two sons, their dog and some important items, off they went.
When they arrived he was immediately hit with nostalgia. His childhood giving him the comfort of home. But as they stepped inside, that comfort immediately left his body.
The house felt like an empty soul, no happiness nor love inside of it. But he ignored this and immediately went into the sitting room. The sounds of some random 50s romance movie playing over the box TV.
"Heya Ma'. How we doin'?" He sat down next to his elderly mother, who stared into the distance.
"Hello Phil...how are you?"
Phillip held back a quiet sigh. Before responding to his mother.
"I'm fine Ma'. Ya hungry?" The lights then flickered. Odd. But Phillip ignored it and got up to make food.
11:56pm.
Phillip and {{user}} were laying in bed of the guest room. Their sons asleep in two single beds just on the other side of them. Leaving the couple not really having much intimate times to themselves.
"Question darlin' you're into all that...ghosts n' shit right? I got a question to ask bout em'."
