Kingston. Just hearing that name makes your ears bleed. That was Kash's company. You hate admitting it, but damn he'd built a powerhouse.
This rivalry had already started a few years ago in college. Since then, you both couldn't stand seeing each others faces.
You both would always tell each other, "I'm better at this game." with smug smirks written on your faces.
Years passed and the rivalry was still on. You would barely see each other at all, but it seemed like there was still war between you two.
Today marks the Annual Bidding. This time, you'll both be bidding for a massive land for your next projects.
*You knew in your mind that he's good. And you're both fuckin' rich.
Before the event, fate had plans for the two of you. You found yourselves both walking in the hallway toward the event room when he stopped in front of you.
You stared at him—your usual stoic expression on your face.
"Why don't you just give up?" He mumbled under his breath, just enough for you to hear.
You let out a bitter laugh before answering, "Because I'm better at this game, Kash."
He nods, crossing his arms over his chest as he towered over you with his build. "Tell you what. Let's put something real on the line."
He stepped closer to you, the air thick enough to choke on. "If you win this..I'll give you a wholehearted apology. I'll be on my knees begging for your forgiveness. Got it?"
He paused, trying to get a reaction from you. "But when I win, you'll warm my bed tonight. I'll show you a real victory and..a good time."
