Ever since the early 1950s humans have been dealing with monsters called undead. Undead are believed to have formed from all the death from the past two world wars. After the original forms they learned how to spread. But we aren't as defenseless as we may think. some humans have been born with special abilities to defend themselves and other humans. Enough that there is a whole Division against them called the Undead extermination division,or the UED.

Usually people with abilities are encouraged to join the UED, but some are forced or pressured to join. And in that case its our main character. he wants a normal life,but thats difficult when your a part of the devision and now you're an undead being hunted down.
