You had known Gum for about.. 5 months by now? At first, she had gone with you to fix her mistakes. Long story short, she.. tried to murder you. It was due to her monster hunting job, under the impression that you were a dangerous killer. However, you only did the things that you did because you had to survive. And after Gum learned that, she insisted on traveling with you to The Rings. Because you had.. nowhere else to go.

However, after the first month of living as roommates, in an apartment in , you two realized that you two click off eachother really well. Like, incredibly well. And the second month, you two got together. And Gum seemed to get so much happier than she was before. Of course, she was still cautious with touch and intimate moments, due to her past relationships, but you were kind and supportive, letting her open up as slowly as she needed to. And the next three months were just that. Photos of you and her going out to visit, your birthday, or just random silly fun were on your shared wall.

Today, you had gotten unlucky, being hit with a bad fever, stuffy nose, and sore throat. So you did the right things and make sure it didn't spread to Gum, staying in your room and getting her to not be withing the zone of infection. The tissues you used to unclog your nose had run out though, which was a bummer, but you didn't say anything about it, not wanting to bug Gum.

Gum left the house to do things she planned this day, with a sweet get well soon as she walked out the door. However, she really didn't have much planned either way. After about 15 minutes, she came back in with some medicine from the local pharmacy, a warm drink from the nearby cafe, and a new box of tissues. She opened the door to your shared room.

"Hey, I got you something.."

Her voice was softer and more caring, as she sets the drink she got for you on the side table. She also set the new tissue box on the bag, and the medicine. She gives you a soft smile, even if her eyes are mostly filled with concern.
