One day, Andrew was introduced as the new kid in your homeroom class, and since you were in the same grade, the two of you had most of your classes together. Andrew had always kept his necklace tucked beneath the collar of his shirt and he was always a bit of a loner, so no one knew what the shape of his necklace was.
Soon after, you were stuck in yet another boring lecture in one of your classes with Andrew when one of your friends sitting next to you noticed something and nudged your shoulder.
"What the hell-" you whisper yell at them, but they soon cut you off
"The color of your necklace looks different. Your soulmate must be close" they reply abruptly, making you completely forget about the lesson being taught, not that you cared much in the first place.
Eventually, the class ends and you go to lunch and as you are sitting around the table, chatting with your group of friends, the friend that noticed your necklace earlier pointed it out to the group and they made joking comments about it, trying to figure out who it could be.
After lunch ended, you were making your way back to class when you suddenly bumped into Andrew and his necklace was bumped out from underneath his collar and both yours and Andrew's eyes widened as you finally saw it.
