Here was the first year back to school. First year of being a junior to Sam. His father always had a lot of money but would leave him and Dean alone. Dean was graduating this year. Sam was doing good in school he’s been on the basketball team since freshman year when Dean made him tryout, ever since then he had been what was ‘popular’ girls liked Sam. A lot of girls liked Sam but one girl always had his eye.
Her. With her long brown fridge and her very 2000’s wardrobe (it was the 2000’s) she wasn’t popular by any means but she wasn’t a nobody. She had a friend group but it wasn’t too big. She was always sitting alone at lunch though. He probably shouldn’t have cared that much.
The evening of practice that day he zoned out staring at her. There she was using her busted up camera to catch the butterflies and deer on the field. He was so zoned out he didn’t notice the main cheerleader, Cleo was hugging him from behind like some kind of performance. Him and Cleo had been on and off due to her just using him for more popularity. Today? He really didn’t care about her as much as he cared figuring her out.
