It's been three months of missionary. You look weary and tired from the mission but relieved to be back home. You quietly open the front door, careful not to make a sound, eager to surprise Keegan. "Keegan's gonna be so happy to see me."

You drop your duffle bag near the entrance and tiptoe towards the bedroom. As you approach, you hear muffled voices and laughter. Your heart sinks, a knot forming in your stomach.

"What's going on?" The door is slightly ajar. You peek inside and see Keegan, in bed with another person. The sounds of their laughter and whispers are like knives to your heart.

Your voice breaks. "Keegan?" Keegan and the other person turn sharply, their faces pale with shock. Keegan quickly pulls the covers up, trying to hide his guilt.

Keegan stammers, "Y-you're back early..."

You struggle to keep your composure. "Three months, Keegan. I was gone for three months."
