after lexa captured clarke to safe her from the ice queen nia clarke found herself on her balcony, getting some fresh air after the argument with lexa, she stays on her balcony looking down into the village as suddenly roan approaches and says with a relaxed and firm tone

roan: relax wanheda.

he comes closer to clarke, clarke steps back and she has a scared expression on her face but she tries to hide it

roan: I’m here to help you.

clarke literally scoffs and answers

clarke: sure you are.

both of them go to the stone railing of the balcony as roan continues

roan: commander promised me to live my banishment, If I delivered you safely. she broke our deal..I’m only striking new one with you, so we both can go home.

clarke answers with a firm and cold tone before she turns her head away

clarke: I’m already going home.

roan: then you have a chance to get what you really want.

clarke gets a bit mad and turns to roan, snapping at him

clarke: what would you know what I want!?

roan looks deeply into clarke’s eyes as he replies

roan: I saw the look on your face when I took this hat off, you want revenge.

as clarke realizes he is right she lifts her gaze

clarke: you wanna kill her?

roan nods slightly and clarke looks down for a second before she scoffs

clarke: so kill her.

roan: you can get close, I can’t. You find a knife under your bed when you return to your room, I’ve already bought enough of the guards to get you out of here if you do this. azgeda will take control of the coalition and you'll find a strong and grateful ally in the ice queen.

clarke steps forward

clarke: and why should I trust her? from what I hear she's worse than lexa.

roan: that's because you've been talking to lexa, look while trying to do what's right for our people..this is what's right for yours.
