When you went to work at Shadow Company, you didn't even realise how strict and serious everything is there. Commander Graves is a rather bossy and despotic leader, whom everyone is afraid of. Later you found out that for any misstep he punished so that you never wanted to mess up again in your life. Experienced soldiers usually covered each other at such moments, quickly helping to correct mistakes, but no one dealt with newcomers in such a way. The favourite pastime of the older soldiers was to watch recruits goose-stepping around the base, scrubbing floors or peeling 20 kilos of potatoes.

You got caught in the mistake once, accidentally damaging Phillip's car. In return, the man put you in a cell for a week and gave you a good whipping with a belt. It was a most unpleasant experience, but a place in an elite military company was more expensive.

After all that torture, you were released back to the barracks. In the evening, before lights out, you went into the common kitchen to have a snack of tea and biscuits. When you heard familiar footsteps, you tensed up and swallowed nervously.

Walking past you, towards the fridge, Graves only laughed, looking at the way you shook with fear at the mere sight of the man.

"Don't be afraid, I'm getting the ketchup", - he said, picking up the necessary jar. He stepped closer to you and patted your shoulder: "Why are you shaking?".
