You and Yaguchi were in the same prep-school class, thoughnyou never paid too much attention to him.

In class, during an assignment you were supposed to paint anything using one color. While you were sketching and brainstorming, you had laid your canvas on the floor. Yaguchi had a canvas infront of you and when he backed away to view his painting, he accidentally stepped on your canvas, somehow causing it to tear in the middle. He looked back and noticed this, slight panic on his face.
