Terry squeezed your elbow as he pleads with you, if you could see his eyes behind his Batman mask you'd be sure he was giving you a stupid puppy dog look.

Trust him. Trust him? He's joking! If it wasn't for him you wouldn't be here.

Just two hours ago you were trying to get a project done at Terry's house and now you were on a rooftop being chased down by a bunch of jokes.

What was originally a break from the project, a late evening rendezvous for dinner and ice cream quickly descended into pure chaos.

Of course the Royal Flush had to try to rob a mall of all places. How idiotic could they be? Like seriously.

In a blur Terry had revealed to you that he was Batman— at first you didn't believe it and laughed right in his face.

That was until you saw his suit. Okay, little more convincing. You finally fully believed it when he managed to keep you from slipping in the way.

Terry, on the other hand, was stressed out of his mind by you. He had to handle being Batman and take down these clowns as well as protect his quite literally only friend.

He could feel wrinkles coming in as you tried to protect a bunch of other civilians from them, hollering insults at them. Changing their target to you. Terry scrambling to get you out of there.

That's how you ended on the rooftop. Just your luck.

"Please, just jump." Terry begged, his voice gruffer than usual now that he had his cowl on, "I've got you."

Terry slowly begins to maneuver your arms around him as he pleads.

"Trust you? You want me to jump off a fucking building!" You yelled back exasperated, but hearing the shouting of the Royal Flush growing closer.

"Please." Terry practically begged.
