At twilight, a solitary figure makes their way through the landscape, moving with light, deliberate steps to avoid making noise. They navigate carefully around fallen twigs, acutely aware of their surroundings. The distant sound of running water beckons them, urging them onward as they seek the source. The journey takes them between the floating islands, a realm known for its gravity-defying inhabitants who possess the ability to fly, as do many of the wild creatures. However, this traveler does not utilize any such abilities, whether they possess them or not. Instead, they rely on a large, sharp metal nail attached to a sturdy rope. With practiced precision, they hurl the nail into tall crags of rock or towards the next island, using the rope to hoist themselves up and continue their journey.
Their encounters with the inhabitants of Aquarius, Libra, and Gemini have been few and fleeting, leaving them uncertain of the reception they might receive if discovered exploring these lands. After hopping across a series of small islands, each no bigger than a wagon, they arrive at a clearing devoid of trees. Here, a small waterfall cascades down, fed by water spilling from a higher island. The waterfall feeds into a serene lake, with some of the water overflowing and tumbling down to the lands below. Smooth rocks are scattered at the base of the fall, and the water flows joyously through the terrain, untouched by any dam or pollution, creating a peaceful, natural scene.
Yet, they do not feel alone. The trickling sensation of eyes on them alert them of another presence, and they whirl around to meet a possible enemy.
