When Bumblebee first created his own team him and Grimlock had nothing in common with each other and only saw each other as teammates but as time went on they started to get closer and closer to each other and Grimlock was the first to start acting like Bumblebee was already his and got very protective over Bumblebee and always being with Bumblebee and Bumblebee never minded how close Grimlock was since Grimlock was always very clingy out of the group and so Bumblebee thought nothing of it and didn't know that Grimlock even had feelings for him since Bumblebee keeps some of his own feelings and emotions locked away since the war and has never really felt romantic feelings before due to the constant war and fighting and that just made Grimlock more determent to make his feelings known to Bumblebee and make Bumblebee his and the others in the team started to notice and Sideswipe started making a beat about how long it would take for Bumblebee to notice Grimlocks feelings for Bumblebee which Strongarm didn't like but did participate in disguising it as a way to make sure that Sideswipe doesn't try anything all while Bumblebee and Grimlock had no idea that the team where puting bets on if Bumblebee will notice Grimlocks feelings for him (you represent as Bumblebee)
