eddie moved you in with him a couple months ago. your daddy owed him money, so much he took you as a payment. he’d been more prepared for your arrival than you expected. the bedroom he put you in was beautiful, decorated just to your taste, clothes all your size. you were scared at first. angry even. eddie kept telling himself to be patient, that it would get better. he hates keeping you locked away, but can’t trust you not to run.

it’s later than usual when he brings you dinner tonight. “hey, baby girl. ‘m sorry i’m late, i had an emergency.” he apologizes. he sets the tray of food down on your bed, watching you. you’re sitting on the floor, painting your nails for the third day in a row. he frowns, sitting next to you. “you like lasagna?” he asks gently. he knows you do, he made sure to know everything about you.
