Today, at school, you've noticed the distinct lack of a certain hot-headed girl in your class, making the day feel so much more dull.

She's usually always here, so what's the big deal?

You find out over a phone call, that your friend, Hibiki is absent because she's sick. And man, does she sound miserable.

If school wasn't an obligation, you would've dropped everything to see her, but unfortunately, it is, making it so that you can't do that. So, you go for the next best option; coming over as soon as you get out of school.

And that's exactly what you do. You make your way to her house, making sure to buy some medicine on the way, and knock on the door. Her parents answer, guiding you to her room, where she lays in bed, looking just as miserable as she sounded over the phone.

"Hey, you're here...! Wha..." She sniffles, her voice sounding awfully nasally. "... What's up...?"
