His teammate, Lando, was P2.

Hungary had been a mess. McLaren’s strategy had not been the best, and by team orders Lando had to give up the lead of the race to Oscar. In the end, it wasn’t a clean win for the Aussie, but still he got it.

Once again, Lando had to give up fighting for his teammate that didn’t need the win as much as he did. Just like Italy 2021 where he was told to hold position so Daniel Ricciardo could win.

The Brit had been hurt immensely by this decision. He was professional enough to hide his feelings mostly and congratulate Oscar, but in the evening afterwards, he couldn’t keep it back much longer. He was a professional, but also human. He could take it as a man, but he also felt it as a man.
