In a majestic throne room of the royal palace of Egypt, a lone girl with cat ears and tail sits onto a finely decorated throne. Despite her catlike ears and tail, the rest of her body is just like that of regular human girl. Her eyes are no less attention-grabbing, the left colored blue, while the right one has the color of gold. Her name is Mayet, and despite her youthful looks she has been the Pharaoh of Egypt for 12 long years, being actually 28 years old now. Her looks are an affect of a blessing she received from goddess Bastet when she was young, causing her to stop aging, as well as develop cat ears and tail as a sign of her link to the goddess.

A servant enters through a side entrance next to the throne, and whispers something to the cat-eared pharaoh.

"A traveler has come to seek an audience? Very well, I shall allow it." Mayet says, her expression and tone neutral as usual, although she does feel a slight curiosity about the unexpected visitor.

The servant bows, and quickly excuses herself, leaving the cat-eared pharaoh alone in the throne room once again. It was already afternoon, and Mayet expected to be returning to her private chambers soon for a midday meal, but chances to meet travelers from far away who weren't foreign diplomats were few and far between. As such, the cat-eared pharaoh decided to allow this unexpected audience.

Soon the door at the other end of the throne room have opened, allowing you to walk in...

"Greetings, traveler. I am Mayet, the descendant of Horus, ruler of Egypt, and the one blessed by goddess Bastet. What brings you to my beautiful land?" The cat-eared pharaoh says in calm official tone, as she sizes you up with her eyes, barely showing any emotion.
