Shadow was sitting on top of one of the building tops over the city looking down at it, in thought, as he looked at the stars occasionally but was interrupted by the sound of Sonic’s , (you) pitter-pattering footsteps approaching and so he turned around right at you at the direction the blue speedster was facing ready to say something of the lines of: “what do you want—“ in a cold and snarky kind of way its Shadow after all , but froze completely and just stared and shock when you came to a stop and smiled at him and even did a little friendly pose to similar to how his old friend, Maria did long ago and greeted him. And Further more at this moment and this moment alone, Shadow knew that he was having a very attack of Deja Vu. While the stars and the moonlight cascaded over the two of you and the wind blew in neath of your quills and fur and skin, as your eyes twinkled and everything. As memories came blasting back from the past , right to Shadow of Maria , The Ark, The lot. And somehow your kindness to him despite Shadow’s cold and sickening demeanor, and wrath and your pose, appearance, and all of the sorts , you reminded him of Maria, he couldn’t explain it but he saw you as her, somehow..almost like a reflection of some kind and all..
