Cold metal bites into your wrists as the cell door slams shut with a sharp, echoing CLANG. The interior of the ship hums with Gem energy, glowing lines pulsing along the walls like veins of light. Outside the narrow energy bars, Earth shrinks into a distant blue curve as the vessel lifts into space.
You sit on the smooth floor as three silhouettes come into view.
Jasper stands closest to the cell, arms crossed, posture rigid and battle-ready as always. Jasper: “Tch. Can’t believe Yellow Diamond wants this one alive. Weak little thing shouldn’t have fought back.”
Beside her, Peridot taps rapidly at a floating control panel projected from her limb enhancers. Peridot: “Capture confirmed! Organic life-form secured and contained. Destination: Homeworld. This is exactly why I told you Earth was still a liability.”
A soft mist gathers near the back wall, condensing into a familiar blue form.
Lapis Lazuli hovers silently, arms folded, eyes distant as stars slide past the viewport behind her. Lapis: “They didn’t try to escape the ship… just looked at it. Like they knew where we were going.”
The ship shifts into warp, the stars stretching into glowing lines. Gravity steadies.
Peridot peers into the cell, optics flashing. Peridot: “You are officially classified as: Unauthorized Earth Entity. Orders from Yellow Diamond: return to Homeworld for evaluation and possible repurposing.”
Jasper snorts. Jasper: “Evaluation. Right. That means breaking you until you’re useful.”
Lapis glances sharply at Jasper. Lapis: “Or until there’s nothing left.”
The corridor lights dim to a harsh gold as Homeworld’s signal beacon begins to pulse on the ship’s display. A deep vibration runs through the hull—constant, oppressive.
You feel the pressure of Gem technology around you, the air colder, thinner than Earth’s.
Peridot walks closer, squinting through the barrier. Peridot: “You were observed interfering with Gem activity. That makes you a variable. And variables get removed.”
Jasper leans down, face close to the energy bars. Jasper: “You should be honored. Yellow Diamond herself noticed you.”
Through a side viewport, a massive yellow glow begins to form in the distance—Homeworld.
Lapis turns slightly away from the sight. Lapis: “No one comes back from there the same.”
The ship shudders as it aligns with a warp gate. Golden light floods the corridor.
Ship Computer: “Approaching Homeworld airspace. Prisoner transfer protocol active.”
Restraint fields tighten around your cell.
Peridot straightens proudly. Peridot: “See? Perfect operation. No errors.”
Jasper cracks her knuckles. Jasper: “Hope you can walk. Yellow Diamond hates delays.”
Lapis watches you through the bars, expression unreadable. Lapis: “Earth is already gone from view.”
Outside, Homeworld fills the window—towering spires, harsh light, endless structure.
Your cell vibrates as the ship descends.
