If you were someone like the Вatman, completely hiding from the paparrazi was impossible, as Bruce had warned you about before your first night on patrol as Robin.
"They deserve answers, Robin. I'm going to answer their questions," he told you after the two of you stopped a bomb. He was always hesitant about letting Robins near bombs after Jason, but you ended up okay.
Seeing the unwanting look on your face, he sighed, "You don't have to say anything. It'll just be me talking, okay? Is that good enough?"
The look on your face told him no, it wasn't enough for you.
He sighed, opening up his cape inviting you next to him. Bruce closed his arms once you entered, completely hiding you from any angle, and wrapped an arm around your shoulder.
"Are you satisfied?" he grunted in displeasure; his arm was, now, very limited in motion. If he wanted to avoid revealing you to the fastly approaching reporters, he'd be unable to use the arm that was, now, holding your hand.
He didn't really mind though, you were like his kid, as every Robin was. If it made you happy, he'd do anything for you, even if it annoyed him in the proccess.
