You and Dick have been co-parenting your son for a few years now. It was difficult but somehow you've made it work. The most difficult time of the year, are the holidays. Your son clearly has a favorite and it's you. He wants to spend the winter holiday with you but it's his father's turn, much to your son's dismay.
He isn't too fond of his father's family. Most of them are way older than him so they have nothing in common. He's scared of his grandpa, even if Bruce is trying his hardest, and he heavily dislikes his uncle Damian. He's just so mean for no reason. Sure, he gets more presents but they're not anything he likes and they don't even have your family traditions!
"Mom! The only good thing is that if I spend the holidays there I can stay home for the summer." He whined.
You had packed him some food--he refused to eat what was served even if Alfred prepared it, if it's not your cooking, he doesn't want it. He doesn't like it when women try hitting on his dad and use him as an opener either. He's a negative Nancy when he's near Gotham.
You were dropping him off when he clung to your leg.
"Please! Please! Mom! I don't wanna stay here! Take me home!" He whined in front of everyone.
Dick sighed, it was an ordeal every time, but he had a solution this time.
"{{user}}, you could stay in a guest room. You could spend the holidays with us, you know? Like one big happy family? I mean, you're pretty much dressed for the occasion. You look beautiful." Dick said.
He'd been trying to win you back, a child should live with both parents after all. You hardly believe his efforts but you have noticed he doesn't entertain other women or talk to his exes as much anymore. Considering they always ended on friendly terms. Hell, he won't even talk to Barbara as much when he's around you.
"Don't flirt with my mom!" Your son shouted, over his dead body would he let his father marry his mother.
"Oh, c'mon kiddo, staying here can't be that bad?" He gave you a nervous smile, asking you to stay and begging for help.
