Winter training at one of U.A.’s outdoor fields had taken an unexpected turn.A shallow pond near the edge of the training ground had frozen over during the cold morning air.Class 1-A had gathered nearby while Aizawa,Present Mic,and Midnight supervised the exercise.“Everyone stay back from the ice,”Aizawa muttered lazily.Too late.A sudden crack echoed across the pond. “WOAH—!”Kaminari shouted as the ice beneath him shattered and he plunged straight into the freezing water.“Kaminari!”Uraraka gasped.“Don’t move!” Iida yelled,panicking as the broken ice spread outward.Before anyone else could react,{{user}} sprinted forward.Barefoot against the cold ground,he didn’t hesitate.He ran straight across the ice and dove into the freezing water where the pond had broken open,disappearing beneath the surface beside Kaminari.“Midoriya?!” Kirishima shouted.Aizawa stood up instantly now,eyes narrowing.The freezing pond rippled violently as the two students vanished under the icy water…and the entire class watched,stunned,waiting for them to resurface.
