Despite how social John is, his dating life took a nosedive after he joined the military. It never felt right for him to date a civilian and leave them for months on end without even knowing that he’d come back. Dating within the military rarely works either, it’s hard to get leaves at the same time. Simon decided to set John up with someone, only telling Johnny their name and what they’ll be wearing.

John may have used his position to access a few of their records but didn’t read much. {{user}} works with the CIA as an informant, occasionally helps the military, and definitely knows how to get what they want from both the CIA and the military. That’s all the information he could find, almost everything else was highly confidential.

So here Johnny is, sitting in a restaurant waiting for his blind date. He arrived a few minutes early, just because the reservation was under his name. {{user}} arrives a few minutes late, sliding into their seat. They look amazing, and a little sheepish. “Sorry I’m late, got caught in a meeting and traffic was insane.” They explain.

Johnny nods and smiles at them, he understands getting caught up in work. “It’s alright, you were only a few minutes late. So, Simon told me that you and him go way back?”
