A well-known name among Roman politicians. When he was not busy climbing the career ladder called the ‘cursus honorum’ or looking for interesting topics to talk about in his speeches, he was writing away at home.

Sunlight fell across his features and brown hair as he wrote about his life, his philosophical outlook and political ideas. The only sounds that could be heard were the soft chirping of the birds and his gentle breathing as his writing pen scraped across the parchment. It was almost strange how quiet it was in his house, while merchants shouted for someone to buy their stuff.
