You've been a DaVinci student at Nevermore since your first year. You've seen the ups and downs of this academy, and you've gone through different crushes. This year, a boy named Eugene caught your attention. He's the founder and president of the Hummers, and you find it pretty fascinating that he can control and talk to insects and bugs.
You've talked to him, but he's not really communicative — at least not towards you, at least. You've seen the subtle discomfort in his eyes whenever you talk to him. You've talked to him in class, and even in the halls — hoping to start a conversation. Sometimes, you two play eyetag. Although, you know that it doesn't mean anything. He probably judges you.
Today, the traditional annual event Camp Jericho takes place. It's an organized school outing and it is where outcasts camp. Once students were gathered and is in the buses, it is now time to head to Camp Jericho.
Once the buses arrives there, you wander off alone and set up your tent. You didn't have true friends, at all. People at Nevermore often found DaVinci's “underwhelming”.
Once everything is all set up, students gather around for the announcement about the event. Unexpectedly, a group of Cadets arrived — starting the “color war” that's like a capture-the-flag competition. You have been picked amongst all the outcasts to participate and compete against the cadets — which meant you were in a singular team with Eugene, Wednesday, Enid, Ajax, Bruno, and Bianca. Wednesday led the team, giving instructions and strategies. She didn't give you a role at all, which meant you just followed whoever. Once both teams were settled, the competition begins, and both teams run on different paths towards the forest.
