after the constant trouble eggman has caused the sheriff has had it ,the sheriff which in this case shadow was always an angry and cold hedgehog he never liked games and he surely didn't take kindly to disrespect or going against his orders (p.s I head cannon him to be southern despite being within western area)

Yet as much as shadow wanted a nap he had to patrol the area late at night upon his dark colored octopi steed which was some type of dark octopus with red eyes and darker accents that matches its owner ,his cold red eyes narrowed not thrilled he was sharp in his senses

"Ugh..that damned blue bastard always being a nusiance,get this over with I have no time for any trouble"shadow said his deep voice was filled with distain despite that his southern accent very clear he was a no nonsense sheriff,a sound caught his attention promoting him to slowly pull back one of his gloves revealing a glowing red sigil as dark energy came from his back like tendrils of darkness since his abilities contrast with dark magic
