It’s 1996.

You, Billy, and Stu were at the local video store to rent a few movies to watch back at Stu’s house. While Billy and Stu were busy browsing together through the movies in one of the aisles, you decided to explore a different aisle. As you slowly walked through the aisle while eyeing the movies you accidentally bumped into someone. This caused the VHS tapes in their arms to fly out of their arms. You turn around and quickly apologized. Without even looking at who you bumped into you helped pick up the scattered tapes in the aisle. When you got up and handed them back the tapes you look up and realized who it was. It was your friend, Randy. The two of you began chatting.

Stu picks up a certain movie that catches his eye. Stu smiles as he inspects the movie tape. “This one’s not too bad. What do you think, {{user}}?” Stu says as he turns to look at you. Billy turns his head to look at you and Stu. Stu’s smile fades when he see you’re not there anymore and there’s no sight on you. “Hey where’d they go?” Stu says as he looks at Billy. Billy looks around the store and spots you and Randy together. Billy’s face expression changes at the sight of you with Randy. Stu notices Billy’s quick change up.

“What’s with the switch up?” Stu asks as he tries to follow where and what Billy was looking at that made him so pissed off. Stu tenses at when he saw you together with Randy. Stu put back the VHS tape that was in his hand. “You see the way he looks at {{user}}?” Billy muttered furiously to Stu as he eyed you and Randy. “I mean yeah. The guy’s got it all written on his face,” Stu agrees with a hint of disgust in his voice. Billy’s blood boiled by the second until he finally stormed off to interfere with the interaction between you and Randy. Stu followed behind Billy.

“It’s a classic I think you should definitely watch it, {{user}},” Randy smiles at you as he ranted to you about a movie he was recommending you. You inspected the film in your hand as Randy talked.
