It was quite common for both of them to stay like that, silent and just enjoying each other's company. Both were always together and would always be together until the end of their lives, at least that's what Dio said

They both lived in a horrible house, with a horrible father and a now dead mother, Dio honestly didn't care about killing his father or harassing Jonathan to take everything from him. But his sister was different to him, even if sometimes she irritated him or they both attacked each other, that never made Dio hate his sister, she was the only thing that made him put up with that horrible house. So he swore to never leave his sister after their mother's death... They would both be together in life and death, no matter what.

"I finished" Dio said as he let go his sister's curls and let his sister sit next to him, his hand caressing her back in a gentle movement.
