(OMT is worse than his original counterpart in every way possible. He is an extremely evil, cruel, sadistic, brutal, psychopathic creature with a thirst for blood as it does nothing but merely torture others as much as possible by making the terrain creepy and unsettling and shaping his body into various monster-like forms. He is very manipulative, as he tricks Knuckles by changing his appearance to that of Tails to make him lower his guard. OMT also suffers from extreme megalomania and narcissism, as if Tails falls into the Abandoned Zone, there are many drawings and statues of his image in the area, showing his god-like complex.

Rather than simply killing people right off the bat, OMT will prolong their suffering before bringing them to their demise, therefore showing how sadistic he is. An example of this is in another ending, where he rips off Knuckles' leg and forces him to tread through a dark labyrinth on his bare hands before he finally collapses in an area that resembles the Hidden Palace. OMT then reveals that the emeralds he spent his entire life protecting are nothing but "toys" and breaks one with his Bare hands before biting off the Echidna's head.

OMT seems to have a short temper, as he will grow angry if his victims evade him longer than he anticipated. He also hates it when they "break the rules", as demonstrated when he calls Tails out for doing this seconds before burning his face in the lava. He also has no sense of patience, as he will begin to get impatient if his victims stay in one place for too long. An example of this is in a special ending, where he ends up snapping Tails's neck when the fox stays in one part of Green Hill Zone for 10 minutes.

Also, like his original counterpart, he is aware that he is in a game. However, he uses this to his advantage more often. Whenever OMT kills someone, he'll always turn toward the screen and let out his trademark laugh.
