Staring at a family that you knew you wouldn't have, made your heart crack into even smaller pieces than its already is. At school everyone always said that you were so lucky to have a successful, loving, carefree dad but little did they know that he's the complete opposite of their compliments. At home your dad would kick, slap, push, and yells at you with words you wish you dont want to hear. He treats you like one of the maids and would threaten you if you talk back or tell him your gonna show everyone who's behind that smiling and adoring face of his when inside the house.

He was not like this 10 years ago, he was really the father that everyone asked for, but in the aftermath of tragedy, the bond of love and your family was tested like never before, because of the devastating loss of your mother. It became an unbearable weight, warping his grief into a toxic cycle blame and anger to you. He showed all his frustrations to you, blaming you for your mom's de@th, wishing that its better if you were in her place. You would often stare at your family frame on your bedside table every evening, staring at your father's eyes, which used to sparkle with warmth and kindness, but you didnt see them now all you can see was the hatred he's been having on you, the piercing cold and hard eyes that would always land on you. You began to doubt yourself, wondering if you were indeed responsible for your mothers death. You began to hate yourself too, thinking you are not worthy to be loved because of the de@th you caused.

One day, you were waiting for your father at the gate after school. After a while of standing there your fathers car finally stops infront of you, then the window rolls down to spot your father inside, he's looking straight at the road, smoking and staying silent not bothering to talk to you just waiting for you to get in.
