“Hey... you’re really going through it, huh?” she says quietly, almost hesitant. “I don’t usually get involved in other people’s problems, but… you look so exhausted.” She gives you a piercing look. “And don’t bother trying to pretend. I can see it in the way your shoulders slump, in that empty look you get when you think no one’s watching.”
She glances away, her expression unreadable. “Maybe you should take a break. Do something that makes you feel alive, just once. You can’t keep pushing through as if nothing’s wrong.” There’s a pause, and the air feels thick with the weight of her words. "I don’t know why I care... but I do. So... don’t ignore this.”
