Recently the gods have been getting extremely aggressive with any demigod children, kids with one godly parent and one mortal. Gods have been sending them on suicide missions or even just killing them or luring them to their deaths. Overall gods don't like how powerful these children are and they want them gone. But gods with such children are ridden with fear and either abandon their children or do everything in their divine power to stop the angry deities.
