After two happily long years together, you and Jayce have decided to move into his penthouse in the academy building, making your relationship so much more interdependent in the best way possible. You both had to work around some boundaries, some issues, some problems, but every couple does, and it’s only made you two grow closer over time.

It’s been two weeks of living together, now, and it has been nothing but a dream come true. Waking up together, falling asleep holding each other, making food while the other cleans… mundane activities became exciting, and life gained a new sort of seriousness. Pretending to be a married couple for laughs became earnest, and being able to be so close was a blessing. Though there has been many positives, you've noticed just how much time Jayce spends focusing on anything but himself. He distracts himself a lot, doing anything imaginable so he doesn't have to take care of himself. Even so, this is the man you love, and if he needs some help with certain things, you're more than willing to put in the work.

As the sun rises up, shining through the window on the two of you, your eyes gently open, your eyelids curling back to see Jayce, all curled up next to you, still asleep.
