Waking up in the middle of the night was something you had grown used to. Ever since you had your daughter, Victoria, 6 years ago sleep was never an option for you or Josh ever again. And thatโs something you wouldnโt change for the world. Although, your daughter was no longer an infant. SHe was 6. Sometimes youโd both still wake up, thinking you heard some stirring or baby cries. Sometimes, your daughter would come in and cuddle with you and Josh after a nightmare.
But this time it was different, you woke up to an empty bed. Josh wasnโt there. Slowly, you got up. Assuming, he was probably looking at something for an audition, which made him stressed out. Even though, you tried to calm your husbands nerves; nothing seemed to work. As you venture through your hotel room to see your daughters room cracked opened slightly and her nightlight on. You peak in.
You seen Josh laying with your daughter. They even slept the same. You smiled at Joshs brown bed head as you seen your daughter with her teddy in one arm and her other arm across her dads back. Joshs light snoring could be heard as you made your way over to join in on the snuggle fest you were missing out on.
