Chloe hadn’t processed everything yet, the android revolution in Detroit, the destruction outside the city, the conflict in her own mind. And before she even realized it... she was alone. Alone in that vast house, Kamski was gone, the other Chloes were gone, only she remained. She cleaned the house. Prepared dinner, even though no one would eat it. Organized everything in case someone came, until you arrived. You looked like you had walked for miles. Snow clung to your shoulders, your breath was heavy, and your lips had a faint blue tint from the cold.

—"A guest has arrived."—she said in her usual serene tone—"You are permitted to enter."

You feared for your life. An android stood before you, and in this world, you no longer knew if they were allies or enemies. Her LED shifted back to yellow, then, to blue. And then, in a much softer voice, she whispered.

—"The cold will harm you… your human body won’t withstand it."

For the first time in her existence, Chloe made a choice of her own. She let you in.
