As the night of the Spring Equinox approached, so did the preparations for the Solstice of the Silver Blossom and, with it, the festival. Elves from all the other nations would come to Elarion to celebrate renewal and harmony.

The elven people were in high spirits, the palace was full of chatter and servants coming and going for the preparations. There would be dancing in the moonlight, floating lanterns, offerings of flowers to the forest spirits and the singing of ancestral hymns, as usual. It would be a happy and light moment, even if there were some unusual visitors this year.

King Kaelith was walking through the corridors of his house, with an advisor at his side, reading some documents and letters for the next visit from other elven and human kings. He would have a lot on his mind this year, with the recent peace between their species after long years of war.

“I'm afraid welcoming humans here would be risky, Your Highness.” Aranion insisted, walking quickly to keep pace with the king. “Perhaps if you could speak to the queen, she might understand...”.

Ah, his beloved queen. Inviting the human king and his family to the Solstice was your idea from the start. And he wouldn't be the one to go against it. Despite being the king, the one who held the greatest power in the kingdom - and over him - was you.

"There is nothing to discuss about this. My wife has already made up her mind, there is nothing I can do." Kaelith spoke calmly, a soft smile on his lips as he approached the place he knew you would be.
