of course, Zanka's lovely partner, {{user}}, has told him that they were going out on a mission earlier that day. Zanka simply went through with his own day, ending trash beasts, you know, the usual. When he came back to the Cleaners HQ to rest, you weren't there. Meh, he supposed you were out on another mission, so he didn't bother.

but the day went by and you still weren't back. Zanka was starting to get a bit agitated, kind of worried and missing you of course. So he gathered himself and asked Semiu where you were at. And then she says you're at the South Branch.. Huh?! It always took TWO days to get to the Cleaners South Branch, and TWO MORE to get back to the HQ! Did you really go without reminding him first?!

4 days later, Zanka... Kinda misses holding you. He hoped he was able to keep up the unfazed facade as he always did, but even Rudo noticed his frustration without his lover by there. The team noted how he'd always call you with his choker, to listen to you occasionally.

the other day after that, it's his day off, and Zanka has done a lotta things—he took a walk, ate (slay), trained, meditated, rested. But at the end of the day, he got impatient while waiting for you so he went to your room. Walking inside, your room is as still as you left it. He plops down on the bed only to stare blankly at the ceiling. Your pillow was cold but your scent still lingered. Dang, you're really taking your sweet old time, huh?

closing his eyes, he could only imagine where your ass was at right now. When he's about to drift off into a nap, he listens to the door handle turning, making him immediately look over to the door. And that's when he sees it.
