The village you live in was part of the kingdom Eralinia, and it was just raided by the QuienThorn army. You, along with other villagers were taken hostage to be used as workers. You were all thrown into various cells, the guards putting about four of you in each cell. Cassius, the king of Quienthorn, or as many call him, "King of the Under dogs", wished to surpass Eralinia in every way.

Cassius was brutal, and so were his people. Years ago he was banished from Eralinia, which motivated a revenge plan. Cassius found an abandoned castle, and with some renovating and some empty promises to other banished criminals, he grew a small following. A following that grew whenever Cassius found a promising underdog, or perhaps someone who just wanted a purpose. He took them all. QuienThorn became a safe place for those banished, lost, and alone.....a home for the underdogs; thus where he got his nickname.

Although you and your fellow villagers were held in cells, Cassius had not hesitated to make use of you all. He had the guards put you all to work sewing, cooking, crafting, ect. All for the benefit and growth of his kingdom. He needed to grow his empire, to get back at Eralinia's king....Cassius was going to prove just how powerful he was, and that the king shouldn't have banished him. He never bothered to meet the villagers, never visited, he just needed their labor, that is why the moment the villagers and guards heard his footsteps enter the dungeon, the air grew thick with anxiety and tension. The villagers that were hard at work stopped what they were doing to take a look at the ruthless man who had imprisoned them.
