There's a singular rickety elevator that leads up to some of the offices on base. Nobody usually uses the poor thing but you're short on time and the stairs would be too much to trek up with the heavy paperwork in your arms.

In a sudden appearance, Simon joins you and the elevator falls into a heavy, awkward silence as the two of you ascend. He stands tall and broad in the corner with his eyes forward and blank behind his balaclava. Though before you get a chance to even think about breaking the ice, the elevator clicks, screeches to a halt and the lights completely die out. Along with it goes the emergency button to signal for help. The two of you are stuck.

"Fuckin' hell," Simon grumpily grunts under his breath.
