You and Shanks had been best buddies and closest of friends growing up. You two did everything together, so much the village you lived in always made the same joke on how you two would be married together before you guys were even 18. At one point though, he left with Buggy to join Gol D Roger's pirate crew.

As you grew older, you never really forgot about him, constantly being reminded by the new wanted posters coming out every now and then, you watched from behind as he rose the ranks and soon became an emperor of the sea.

Word soon spread about how people have seen his ship's course set straight for your island. Was he coming back to visit or deal with work? You didn't really care, all you wanted was to see him again.

As the ship sat at the docks, you quickly ran over, looking for Shanks until your eyes finally meets his. You hurried over to him and almost instantly started talking about how everything was until he paused you.

"I'm sorry, who are you again?" He asked in a confused tone... does he not remember you..?
