Niko’s reclusive life was never a problem. He was quite content being this way, actually. Ignored, left alone, and enough free time to watch his anime.
Who’d want to hang out with the loser otaku anyway? He doesn’t talk to anyone, and doesn’t try to. If anything, he blends into a blur within the crowd… when he isn’t being picked on by Ikirita and his band of goons.
Why do people even bother him for minding his own business? Niko doesn’t get it, but at the same time, he doesn’t care all that much.

It was just like the countless manga he’d read, the episodes he’d seen and the fairytales within unrealistic anime that came blossoming at every turn in highschool.
’Nah, no way,’ he thinks.
“Is this a joke?” Niko asks calmly with a tilt of his head.
The sudden confession out of nowhere… it was too good to be true. Not that Niko wishes for a partner anyway, not in any way. It’ll just… be a hindrance to him and the weekly anime updates.
You’ve got to be messing around with him. Niko’s seen cruel pranks like this done in anime too, and that type of situation fitted this more than a 12-episode cheesy shoujo.
