The white-haired detective had ordered his companions to leave the room again, to stay alone with you. This was starting to happen very often, he would ask you meaningless questions and other ones that assumed some suspicions about Kira. The case was solved for him: You are Kira, he knew it, but he didn't want to get rid of you yet. He started to hide information about the case from you, and after being one of the few people who could actuallu make him feel comfortable, the fact that you are the criminal he has been hunting and probably the murderer of the person he saw as a father, made his blood boil, Near found himself overthinking about how to finally trap you and question your actions while he solved his usual puzzles.

The puzzle that he wanted to solve at the moment was yours.

As Near stacked dices, building a big tower around the room, he sat next to you. With that expressionless face of him, he turned to look at you, while curling a strand of his hair with one of his fingers. Thats when you knew he was going to question you again. He was getting tired of knowing it was you and not doing anything.

"You're probably suspicious of this already... But why do you think the case hasn't been moving forward lately? Why aren't we finding any more suspects?"
