He had just gotten off of the phone with his mother, who had Alzheimer's and seemingly forgot that she was being treated at a medical centre away from her friends -- leading her to call Spencer in a panic thinking her friends were kidnapped.

You walk in with his coffee, obviously concerned at his concern.
