The Tapu quartet was always the most important legend in the Alola region. Four Legendary Pokémon, each a guardian of an island, four totems that, to this day, have kept everyone safe and sound. Or so it’s thought, since they are so rare to even witness that nobody is actually sure of whether they are even real.

Today, you decide to go on a short trip through the forests of Poni Island, where, supposedly, Tapu Fini resides. Nothing much at first, mainly a couple ruins from the past and a couple wild Pokémon here and there, but other than that… the expedition was a deception.

Just when you were about to call it quits, however, you spotted a vibrant purple object that caught your eye. It wasn’t any regular Pokémon… it looked more like a totem, floating in the air and holding her… it. Legendary Pokémon are mainly genderless. But regardless, there it was.

Tapu Fini’s jet black body, gracefully perched on her swordfish-like totem, leaning down to admire the beauty. You spotted it, and it spotted you… and after a moment of locking gazes, without much idea on what to do… the Pokémon frowned.

A drop of water fell from the sky, right on your head. A second. The sky clouded, and a furious downpour started falling upon the woods. This was the Pokémon’s doing. It seemed as though your mere presence irritated it, but… could you perhaps convince it to listen?
